Top 2 Fat Loss Myths You May Not Know About!

As we become technologically more advanced, we become the victims of more and more misinformation and useless gadgets. The weight loss industry is probably the biggest carrier of misinformation where the top leaders get to earn a good sum by fooling the public. There are a number of weight loss myths that the common man still believes in. And the obvious by-products of these myths are the unlimited number of weight loss gadgets, ranging from the abdomen flattener to thigh trimmer. Believe it or not, these gadgets hardly ever work, and years of research and studies have already proved it! More often than not, these gadgets have failed to make any positive results on the users. They are simply a waste of money and nothing else.

But it is time that we break down the myths which are fuelling the production of the gadgets. Once people become aware of the truth, these machines will automatically stop selling! In this article we shall discuss the top two myths that are plaguing the lives of overweight people.

1. Myth#1: You must exercise in the morning: This is an out and out myth and whoever thinks this way is utterly stupid! Just think for an instance, exercise is nothing more than physical activity, and physical activities, no matter at which time of the day they are done, are sure to burn calories and fat. And when they burn fat, you automatically lose weight.

Not every one of us has the luxury of exercising in the morning even if we want to! Either because of our job, or family commitments, we are almost always busy in the morning. The only spare time we may get is either in the afternoon or at night.

That said, there are of course a couple of advantages of exercising in the morning. In the morning, you are usually full of energy and so, you will be able to exercise for longer. This is one reason why you should exercise in the morning. But it is foolish to believe that only morning exercises can help you lose weight!

2. Myth#2: Spot reduction of fat is possible: This is yet another foolish notion that many people still believe in. Of course, I cannot blame the public totally, because it is the fitness experts who feed those ideas and notions in their heads, so that they could pull a fast one on them! For example, if you are made to believe that you can spot reduce fat, you will automatically invest in gadgets that would help to lose fat in ’special areas’, such as belly, or thighs. No doubt you would be burning your money instead of fat!

Truth is that you cannot force your body to reduce fat the way you like; your body will always try to have its own way; and in this struggle, it is the body which eventually wins! You may force your body to reduce fat around your abdomen, but don’t be surprised if you lose fat around your buttocks or breast instead! There are special ‘abdominal exercises’ that ‘claim’ to reduce fat around your abdomen, but the fact is that if you continuously do abdominal exercises and nothing else, you will only lose your valuable abdomen muscles instead of fat!
