There are so many weight loss drugs, pills and supplements available that I think you often ask yourself: which one is for me? The answer is very simple: almost none of them would help you lose fat; now, if you want to lose your cash rather than fat, then that is a different thing altogether. Otherwise you cannot expect too much from them!

So why don’t these pills and drugs work? The reason is that they are based on a false concept: the concept of fast weight loss. Logically, just as you didn’t gain weight overnight, you cannot lose the same within twenty-four hours, or even a week. Weight loss should be gradual, for only gradual weight loss is permanent weight loss. Fast weight loss is only temporary and before you have even realized it, your body weight would get back to the ‘abnormal’ figure that you had; in short, you will gain back all the pounds you lost through the use of these diet pills and supplements.

There is another reason why these diet pills don’t work as expected. In order to lose weight, your diet should contain foods that are low on calorie and fat and high on protein. The reason behind this is simple. You need protein to help your body survive, since you have to cut down on your regular food intake in order to lose weight. Your food also needs to be low on calorie and fat to ensure that your food doesn’t do the opposite thing of what it is intended to! Foods that are high on calorie and fat will generally increase your body weight, and you certainly don’t want to get any fatter, do you?

Since diet pills cannot force you to change your food habits, they are pretty useless for permanent weight loss.

It will also help if your diet contains foods that are rich in fiber. Fiber-rich foods will keep your stomach full for a long time so you will be relieved from the pains of frequent hunger!

No matter which quick weight loss pill or the best diet pill on the market you use, no matter how great it is, no matter how big its promise is, the fact remains that if you are serious about weight loss, you need to couple it with a healthy diet and exercise plan. As for exercise, you don’t need to workout in a gym for hours if you don’t want to! If you simply walk a couple of miles everyday that would do you a lot good. Walking, in case you don’t know already, helps you to lose fat as well as build strong muscles; those muscles will help you burn even more fat by boosting your metabolism.
