Can You Eat and Drink and Still Lose Weight?

Do you know that there are certain foods and drinks that can help you lose weight? If not, this article is the one for you. The very first thing you need to know is that there are bad as well as good drinks. Some of the most popular weight loss products are unfortunately nothing less than pure lies.

There are weight loss foods and drinks which claim to have ‘low calorie’ and ‘low carbohydrate’ content. Guess what? They don’t work! Some of the so- called ‘low-calorie’ products actually contain more calories than the originals; as for the ‘low-carb foods’, they substitute sugar with saccharine, which is even more harmful than sugar, for it makes you feel bloated and causes stomach acidity! The only weight loss foods that work are the natural ones.

Let’s start with weight loss drinks.

1. Water: I think you are already aware of the fact that 70% of our body is composed of water. Water is the most important thing that our body needs to survive. Water flushes out the toxins from our body and makes our skin look healthy. But did you know that water can also help you lose weight? Water increases your metabolic rate to such a high level that you will start burning fat at a rapid pace. So don’t forget to drink at least eight glasses of water or more every day. If you can drink water before and after every meal then it is even better; that way, your overall appetite would be reduced and you would eat less and lose weight.

2. Cranberry juice: As far as weight loss is concerned, cranberry juice holds the second position after water. Both water and cranberry juice can help you with weight loss. But if you are not sure how much water and cranberry juice to drink, why not alternate between the two? Let’s say that you drink eight glasses of water one day and the same quantity of cranberry juice on the other. Or you can drink four glasses each of water and cranberry juice in one day. Whatever you do make sure to stay away from the fizzy and carbonated drinks as they will make you fat!

Now how about some weight loss foods as well?

1. Lemons: Not just lemons; in fact any fruit which is rich in Vitamin C can help you lose weight. Lemons help you with weight loss by cleansing your body of all the toxins; it cleans your kidneys as well as other organs. When your body becomes free of all the internal garbage, you will automatically lose at least ten pounds, if not more! Of course what you lose could be anything but fat!

2. Cranberries: Don’t you think that only cranberry juice can help you with weight loss; even the raw cranberry will serve the same purpose. In fact, the raw cranberry rids you of certain harmful diseases such as cancer, heart disease as well as urinary tract infection (UTI). In this way cranberry makes your body healthy. A healthy body results in an increase in metabolism. And this ultimately results in fat loss!
